Position Summary/Objective
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Franchise Operations to oversee our national team of business consultants. This role is pivotal in developing and executing support strategies, managing the team, and utilizing tools to drive the growth and profitability of our franchise network. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of franchising, extensive experience as a franchise business consultant, and a solid background in the signage or print industry.

Essential Functions
Leadership and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive support strategies to enhance franchisee performance and business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a national team of franchise business consultants, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators for the Business Operations team.
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the development and utilization of tools and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective support for franchisees.
Business Strategy and Growth:
  • Oversee a team of franchise business consultants tasked with supporting franchisees in developing and executing business plans to achieve their goals.  
  • Assist in Identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within the franchise network.
  • Analyze financial data and market conditions to provide strategic recommendations.
Franchisee Support:
  • Collaborate individually with franchisees to offer high-level support and guidance, assisting them in optimizing their operations, marketing strategies, and financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and resources to enhance franchisee knowledge and skills.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment both onsite and remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, video conferencing, webinars, phones, photocopiers, printers, filing cabinets, shredding and fax machines.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, talk, see and hear. Must be able to lift up to must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, Exempt position of at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Travel
Travel is primarily during business days, out-of-the-area and overnight travel is expected based on individual job responsibilities. Some of the travel may occur on weekends or be international. Company events may include Summits and the Annual Conventions may also include travel.  Travel is expected to be 30%.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in franchising, with a proven track record of success.
  • 8+ years as a franchise business consultant, demonstrating strong leadership and support capabilities.
  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the signage or print industry.
  • Strong financial acumen. 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.

Compensation: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
