About the position
This role involves overseeing the Professional Services Automation System for the NerdsToGo franchise network, training franchisees and their staff to use the system effectively, and aiding them in resolving technical/IT issues for clients. The aim is to empower franchisees and their employees to become independent in handling similar problems. Additionally, the IT Manager is responsible for maintaining vendor relationships for the automation platform and other systems. Clear communication and alignment with the business goals of the Operations Team and the broader objectives of NerdsToGo are essential for this position.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco
- Has IT Security+ Certification
- Able to learn necessary software, including: ConnectWise PSA & RMM, Acrobat, SharePoint, Visio
- Proficient in training others and facilitating training activities, classes, seminars, webinars, etc.
- Able to travel
What We Need
Education/Experience/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in the Technology Field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience as a network or systems administrator, or relevant experience
- Ability to build and configure servers from scratch
- Experience using ConnectWise PSA
- Familiar with administering various Firewalls from various vendors including Watchguard and Cisco
- Familiar with fundamental IT security methodologies
- Familiar with VLANS and subnetting
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Office Suite as well as Google Workplace

- Must be able to work independently or as a team with little to no supervision and adhere to specific scope and confidentiality requirements
